Geometry
Refer to the test case details for your working group for specific geometry files
to be used.
Common Research Model (CRM)
A large portion of Common Research Model used for the DPW-8/AePW-4 geometry is
the same as was utilized in DPW-7. The link to these geometry files is as follows.
DPW-7 Geometry Website
JAXA has geometry regarding the JAXA CRM model (80% scale of the NASA CRM). See
here JAXA geometry
ONERA OAT15A Airfoil
The ONERA OAT15A airfoil is being used for Test Case 1: Solver Validation. Use of
the ONERA OAT15A airfoil is subject to the following conditions
- The geometry remains the intellectual property of ONERA
- The geometry shall be referred to as the "ONERA OAT15A"
- ONERA will be acknowledged each time the geometry is shared with a partner
- When shared by a user, the above conditions will be included
The geometry, discrete coordinates, and an iges file, are available
for download. Participants are
strongly encouraged to use the provided iges file (ONERA-OAT15A_230mmChord_780mmSpan_upZ_2024_09_05.igs)
as great care has been taken to develop a carefully-crafted geometry with good
curvature behavior.
